Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of data manipulation and visualization techniques. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of data from various sources.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions or concerns.
- Implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract predictive insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- You have 3+ years experience in SQL Server/ Oracle/CosmosDB; 10 out of 10 SQL Ninja analytic capabilities (with 3+ Years hands on experience in SQL)
- You have 3+ years working as a Data Analyst with a strong ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis
- 3+ years of experience in Tableu/PowerBI
- You have the ability to extract information from multiple databases using complex query statements and advanced database tools
- You are able to organize, analyze, and disseminate medium to large amount of information with great attention to detail and accuracy
- You have exposure to Data Warehouse principles and basic understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies
- You have experience working with structured and semi-structured data (xml, json)
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies; resolve and articulate them
- You have knowledge of analytic tools like Tableau and Business Objects
- Experience in concepts of Data Lake is a plus
