ClAppOne is seeking to hire on an Technical Project Manager to join our growing, global service implementation team! As a Technical Project Manager at ClappOne, you will encourage global 1Stop Service product adoption and expansion to help our customers achieve their desired business goals. As a vital member of the team, you will play a critical role in helping us retain and grow business Utilizing your strong library technology experience, you will provide project management, workflow analysis/requirements elicitation, and configuration services in direct communication with customers and project team members while implementing 1Stop Serivce and App. If this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in, then we would love to talk to you!
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; OR equivalent work experience
• 5 years of relevant experience in a library environment or related field (Integrated Library Systems and/or Library Management Systems)
• 5 years of customer service experience in a library or other business/technical environment
• 3 years of working knowledge of typical library collection development and acquisition workflows, from selection to invoicing
It would be great if you also had…
• Master’s degree in library/information science or another technical field highly preferred
• Familiarity with AI, ServiceNow, Cloud technologies and acquisition-related workflows
• Project management (PMP or Prince 2) certification a plus
• Proven project management abilities, including strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with cloud-based or SaaS products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with stakeholders across the organization
• Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Foreign language skills (Spanish, French) Good to have
What will you be doing in this role?…
• Performs workflow analysis and leads discussions with customers as part of product implementations
• Documents customer requirements and ensures completeness of configuration
• Coordinates implementation activities extensively with other teams including Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Support
• Communicates project processes by interacting with the customer to support customer expectations and ensure product adoption
• Creates project communications and statuses appropriate for the needs of the engagement and audience
• Serves as first point of escalation for customer concerns relating to both project-level and technical issues and provides oversight and leadership for resolution during and after project implementation
• Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks to ensure a successful implementation
About the Team
The product this team works with is primarily 1Stopp App and 1Stop Service. But we are looking for a manager who can leverage AI Technology and find ways to induce AI integration for seemless client integration
Externally you get to work with various customers.
Internally, you will work with Sales, Configuration, and Customer Service. Projects are per customer, with the Technical Project Manager handling 5-10 projects simultaneously. Duration is typically 6-8 weeks per project.
The Vice President of this team oversees 1API/1Stop Service Implementation; Delivery; and Collection Development Support. The broader team is 16 people. 1Stop Service and 1Stop App Implementation (immediate team) is six people, globally distributed.
We use Basecamp, iQuest/Salesforce,AWS, AI, UIPath, Confluence, Jira, and MS Teams routinely.
